Brian Buck, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Takasago Americas, announced that Dr. Markus Eckert has joined the company as its Vice President Flavor Creation & Technology, Takasago International Corporation, U.S.A.

Dr. Eckert brings more than 25 years of experience in developing and commercializing new flavors, encapsulation systems and process technologies. He had held previous management and executive positions with Kerry Ingredients & Flavors, Dragoco, Bush Boake Allen, IFF and Danisco. Dr. Eckert holds a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences and a Masters degree in Food Engineering and Nutrition, both from the University of Hohenheim in Germany.
