CORE Organic Fruit Infused Beverage

The low-glycemic CORE Organic has less than 1g of sugar per serving and contains as much antioxidants as a half cup of blackberries or cherries

CORE Nutrition, purveyors of CORE® Hydration premium bottled water, announced a major market rollout of its newest innovation, CORE® Organic, a USDA Certified Organic fruit infused beverage with antioxidants and five calories per serving. The USDA Organic low calorie beverage will roll out into grocers including Kroger, Safeway/Albertson's, Save Mart/Lucky Supermarkets, H-E-B, Sprouts Farmers Market, Acme, Tops Friendly Markets, Bristol Farms, and select Whole Foods Markets through May. Additionally, extensive distribution will kick in at 7-Eleven locations on both coasts as part of the retailer's push for "better for you" beverages.

Known for CORE Hydration, CORE Nutrition has developed an organic and low calorie drink that tastes great without the worry of artificial ingredients, high calorie counts or sugar. With CORE Organic, the company is tapping into America's growing demand for organics, a market estimated at $40 billion that grew by% in 2014, according to Mintel. Additionally, 85% of Americans are currently buying organic and 75% of conventional grocery stores are carrying organic products nationwide.

"Organic is one of the hottest trends, but it's not enough on its own," said Lance Collins, CEO and founder of CORE Nutrition. "No one has been able to crack the code and deliver on all three attributes of organic, low calorie and great taste. So we set out to quench consumers' thirst and deliver a revolutionary new product. Eighteen months later, we're introducing CORE Organic, making organic enjoyable without the tradeoffs of taste or higher calories and so far the reception from retailers, distributors and consumers has been extremely positive."

The low-glycemic CORE Organic has less than 1g of sugar per serving and contains as much antioxidants as a half cup of blackberries or cherries, all derived from white tea extract and maqui berry. The beverage checks all the boxes – only 5 calories per serving, gluten-free, non-GMO, kosher, soy-free, vegan and, of course, certified USDA organic – thus it's designed for a wide variety of lifestyle and dietary preferences. CORE Organic offers six unique flavors that will please any palate and craving: Peach Mango, Watermelon Lemonade, Pomegranate Blue Acai, Orange Clementine, Coconut Colada and Orchard Pear.

The full beverage line is currently available for purchase at select retailers in major cities on the west and east coasts, and retails for $2.49 for an 18-ounce bottle.
