The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named its fifteenth annual Dressing of the Year Award winner as Q & B Foods for its Kewpie Deep Roasted Sesame Dressing and Marinade. The award was presented at the ADS Annual Meeting held October 8-10 at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort in Marco Island, Florida. "We are pleased that our Kewpie line of dressings has received this distinguished industry award from the Association for Dressings and Sauces,” said Jerry Shepherd, president of Q&B Foods, “Our Deep Roasted Sesame Dressing and Marinade is truly delicious with a uniquely bold sesame flavor, using the highest quality non-GMO verified ingredients that encourages creative use to inspire your inner chef.”

“Our Kewpie brand is a well-established international brand through our parent company Kewpie Corp. The Dressing of the Year Award is presented by ADS to recognize and celebrate truly innovative and delicious dressing products. Nominations for the award were received from ADS members and were then voted on by members via a blind taste test at the ADS May 2016 Technical Meeting in Savannah, Georgia. ADS members voted for the dressing deemed to have the best overall taste.

ADS also named its fifteenth annual Sauce of the Year Award winner as Chelten House Products, Inc. for its Bacon Moonshine BBQ Sauce. The award was presented at the ADS Annual Meeting held October 8-10 at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort in Marco Island, Florida.

"Our theme at the ADS Annual Meeting this year was Navigating the Winds of Change,” said Jason Dabrow, chief operating officer (COO) of Chelten House Products, Inc. “We developed this sauce in the spirit of change, and brought two unique tastes together. And bacon continues to be a favorite!”

In addition to a legacy spanning four generations, Chelten House Products, Inc. has a history of winning, with 2016 as the fourth time receiving the ADS Sauce of the Year Award. “We appreciate the recognition from the Association for Dressings & Sauces and congratulate ADS as it celebrates 90 years of history in the industry,” said Dabrow.
