Mishra Earns Technical Service Award from The Association for Dressings and Sauces

The Technical Service Award is given to an individual who has demonstrated dedicated service

Dr. Ritu Mishra of The Clorox Company was presented with the 2019 Technical Service Award from The Association for Dressings and Sauces (ADS) during the Atlanta-based association’s 2019 Technical Meeting “Winning the Triple Crown”. The meeting was held at the Seelbach Hilton in Louisville, Ky., April 28-30. 

Each year, the ADS Technical Service Award is given to an individual who has demonstrated dedicated service to the ADS technical programs.  Nominations for this award are taken from the general ADS membership and then voted on by ADS’ Executive Technical Board, the group that oversees the Association’s technical activities. At the Technical Meeting, members share their expertise on a variety of industry-specific topics including packaging, food safety, emulsions and quality.

Dr. Mishra has provided strong leadership and commitment to the technical advances of ADS and serves on the ADS Executive Technical Board. “Our industry is constantly changing and improving. I’m honored to help contribute my thoughts and ideas to such a strong organization of leaders passionate about their work,” said Dr. Mishra.

“Dr. Mishra’s talent in food science is certainly an asset and she contributes to the Association for Dressings and Sauces by sharing her expertise on a number of projects. Her peers at ADS have spoken, and Ritu was their choice for the ADS Technical Service Award,” said Patricia Faison, ADS’ Director of Regulatory and Technical Affairs.
