The American Palm Oil Council (APOC) is hosting the eighth Global Oils and Fats Forum (GOFF) in Orlando, Florida on October 3 to 4, 2013.
The biennial forum will again see the convergence of oils and fats leaders, international industry captains, biodiesel and renewable fuel industries members, scientists, environmentalists and conservationists to meet and discuss the latest events and developments in the multi-billion dollar industry.
Themed as ‘Oils & Fats Market Watch: Advancing Sustenance and Sustainability’, topics to be discussed ranges from ‘Global Oils and Fats Market Outlook’, ‘Realities about Sustainability: Now and Next’, ‘Competitive Formulations and the Economic Benefits’, ‘Health and Nutrition Talk: The Fats and Thins of Edible Oils’, to ‘Biodiesel Developments and Updates’. The Malaysian Minister of the Plantation Industries and Commodities, Honourable Minister, Dato’ Sri Douglas Uggah Embas, is the guest of honour and will give keynote address and officiate the upcoming forum.
GOFF 8 follows the trail of the highly successful GOFF 7, held at the beautiful National Harbor, Maryland, U.S.A in 2011.
