Pernod Ricard has appointed Richard Jones as channel director for wholesale cash and carry and Roger Harrison as head of marketing for light spirits and specialties.
Jones will be responsible for directing and implementing commercial strategies in the wholesale and cash and carry sector. He will oversee sales of Pernod Ricard’s portfolio of spirits and wines in the U.K. market, which includes Jameson, Martell, Jacob s Creek and Chivas Regal, among others.
Jones previously worked for Diageo (Australia) as commercial strategy manager and national business manager for the independent sector. He has also held senior roles with Unilever Bestfoods, now Unilever UK Foods.
Roger Harrison has joined Pernod from Bacardi Brown Forman Brands, where he was marketing controller responsible for Bombay Sapphire and Bacardi Breezer. He has also been marketing manager at Danone foods. In his new role at Pernod, Harrison will be responsible for the planning, directing and implementation of marketing campaigns for the growing spirits portfolio, which includes Havana Club, Olmeca tequila, Pernod and Ricard.
