Report 1: DSM Nutritional Products is launching today a new high-potency natural Beta-Carotene beadlet. Named CaroCare(R) Nat. Carotene 20% V, the innovative product answers the growing demand for animal- and allergen-free ingredients. Aimed at the direct compression and dietary supplement market, it demonstrates DSM's unique expertise in Beta-Carotene formulation. The company's animal- and allergen-free portfolio now comprises Beta-Carotene, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin D3, ALL-Q(R) (Coenzyme Q10), Lutein and OPTISHARP(tm) (zeaxanthin).

Report 2: Royal DSM N.V. announces the cancellation of 6,700,000 ordinary shares, decreasing the number of issued ordinary shares by 3.3%. These 6.7 million ordinary shares were repurchased by DSM in the fall of 2006 as the first phase of the share buy-back program, which was launched by DSM at the end of September 2006. This finalizes the first phase of the share-buy back program according to plan. A total number of 195,253,008 ordinary shares have now been issued.

Report 3: DSM Venturing, the corporate venturing unit of Royal DSM N.V., today announced that it has made an equity investment in Harland Medical Systems, Inc., an emerging U.S. company that is marketing technologies and solutions in medical coating applications. This is DSM's third investment in a biomedical company in the last twelve months, broadening DSM's window on developments in this area even further.

Leveraging its expertise in the development of advanced coating automation systems and testing instruments for coated devices, Harland Medical Systems has established an integrated coating services division for customers who wish to outsource their medical device coating development and production activities. Jon Anderson, CEO of Harland: "Our customers see huge value potential in Harland coating application services, as this high-value added activity helps these medical device customers accelerate their time to market and frees them to concentrate resources on their core activities."

DSM and Harland Medical Systems will cooperate on customer-driven programs using DSM's proprietary hydrophilic coating technology and Harland's automated coating equipment and coating application services.
