CHESTERFIELD, Mo./June 19, 2007/PRIME NEWSWIRE -- Reliv International Inc., a developer, manufacturer and marketer of a proprietary line of nutritional supplements, has hired Jack Linn to the newly created position of senior vice president, global marketing.

In his new role, Linn will be responsible for U.S. and international marketing. He brings to Reliv more than 35 years of experience in the direct selling industry, including a 15-year stint operating his own consulting firm. He has served as a consultant to Reliv for more than five years, including a period starting in November 2006 to the present.

"Jack's understanding of Reliv and the depth and breadth of his other direct-selling experience make him especially valuable to us," said Robert L. Montgomery, chairman, chief executive officer and president of Reliv. "Most recently, he played a key role in our launch of the Slimplicity Weight Loss System, and I look forward to his continuing contributions to the company," Montgomery said.

Linn launched his consulting firm in 1992 and has worked for direct-selling companies such as Japan Health Summit, Jafra Cosmetics and Tarrah Cosmetics Canada. His previous experience includes 15 years at Tupperware International, rising to senior vice president of advertising/public relations, product marketing and sales training. He also served as vice president of sales development for Shaklee Corp.

He a Master's in journalism, and a BS in advertising, social psychology and English literature from Northwestern University.
