November 28/MarketWatch -- Dean Hollis, president of ConAgra Foods Inc.'s consumer foods division, plans to leave the company in July 2008. Hollis plans to seek a "top leadership position at another consumer business," ConAgra said in a regulatory filing late Tuesday.

Hollis, who began work at Omaha, Neb.-based ConAgra in 1987, has led the consumer foods unit since 2005. In his role, he oversees all retail products, including ConAgra brands such as Healthy Choice, Orville Redenbacher's, Hebrew National, and Hunt's. Hollis also is responsible for the company's global business, which markets 40 global brands in 110 countries.
