May 12/Louisville/Prepared Foods-- D.D. Williamson announced the promotion of Graham Merryweather to vice president, Global Sales. For the North American operations, the company has hired Connie Sandusky to replace Merryweather as regional sales manager. Megan Mullinix also recently joined the company as business development manager.

“Graham is a terrific asset to our Global Sales Team,” said Ted Nixon, CEO. “We’re confident he will excel in his new role and assist Connie in learning his previous responsibilities. Connie’s impressive background will boost our technical sales approach. Megan adds strength in developing relationships with new customers.”

Originally from Nottingham, U.K., Merryweather graduated as an Academic/Athletic All American with a BS in Biology from Evansville University in Indiana. After a brief career in professional soccer, he began his D.D. Williamson career in R & D. Merryweather progressed rapidly through the organization in roles as diverse as technical coordinator for the plant and the global team, plant manager, and regional sales manager for North America. As vice president, Global Sales, Merryweather joins the senior management team, bringing a broad business view with a deep knowledge of D.D. Williamson’s customer requirements around the world.

Joining the D.D. Williamson North American Sales Team as regional sales manager, East Coast, Sandusky brings a rich background both in industry and academia. She was most recently the director of Product Management for Kalsec Inc. Prior employment includes a food ingredient lab and university teaching. Connie earned her Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of Maryland.

Mullinix joined the D.D. Williamson North American Sales Team as business development manager in March after employment as an account executive with Clear Channel. Megan earned a BA in Business Administration at the University of Kentucky.
