July 2011/Prepared Foods -- Jamba Juice was one of the initiators of the smoothie trend; however, the foodservice brand has expanded into retail, as well. In partnership with Inventure Foods, Jamba has added a new flavor to the All Natural Smoothie Kits line.

Caribbean Passion is a frozen blend of mango, strawberry and peach, non-fat yogurt and Jamba’s signature vitamin C “boost.” It joins Razzmatazz, Mango-a-Go-Go and Strawberries Wild in the at-home line.

The initial line was launched in early 2010, and all of its products promise a full serving of fruit and 100% of the daily value of vitamin C, though without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives or high-fructose corn syrup. pf
