December 15/Carlstadt, N.J./Press Release -- Citroil Enterprises Inc., a manufacturer of citrus oils, juice extracts and flavoring, has just outfitted its 50,000 square foot U.S. headquarters in Carlstadt, N.J., with 1,200 solar panels on both the roof and the canopy.  According to Vivian Glueck, Citroil president, “We are committed to reducing the carbon footprint in all of our properties worldwide and looked into many ways to accomplish that.”

Max Vanderlinden, director of operations, who supervised the project, added, “The installation took five months, and we are very happy with the results. The solar panel project is a testament to the principal’s commitment to form a green prospective within the company. It benefits everyone.”

Citroil anticipates cutting its electrical consumption in half and having its investment returned in about eight years.
