January 13/St. Louis/St. Louis Business Journal -- Private-label food company Ralcorp Holdings Inc. has completed the lineup for the boards of directors of both the company and for Post Holdings Inc. following the planned spinoff of the Post branded cereal business. The directors will begin serving immediately after the spinoff is completed, which Ralcorp said is expected to occur about the end of this month.

As previously announced, as part of the Post spinoff, first announced in July last year, Ralcorp chairman William Stiritz will step down to become chairman and CEO of Post Holdings. J. Patrick Mulcahy, vice chairman of Ralcorp, will become Ralcorp's chairman after the spinoff.

Both Ralcorp and Stiritz have recruited a lineup of well-known local executives to lead the companies after the separation.

The Post spinoff will create at least 150 jobs, most of them in downtown St. Louis. Post, which makes Grape-Nuts, Shredded Wheat and Honey Bunches of Oats, is getting $3.8 million in state tax credits for the expansion.
