CPI Named Among Most Admired Again
This is the sixth time Corn Products has earned the award; the company is ranked fourth in the food production category. The recognition is posted on Fortune's website, and will appear in the March 5, 2012, edition of the magazine.
"We are proud to once again receive this prestigious acknowledgement," said Ilene Gordon, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Corn Products International. "To be named one of America's Most Admired Companies speaks to our dedication and commitment to our customers, employees, stakeholders and to the communities in which we operate."
Fortune compiles its list by surveying company directors, executives and industry observers, who rate companies on such criteria as innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.
