April 18/Nashville/Nashville Business Journal-- Odom's Tennessee Pride has agreed to be purchased by ConAgra Foods Inc.

ConAgra announced the planned purchase in a news release. The financial terms were not disclosed.

Odom's Tennessee Pride is the second-largest maker of frozen breakfast sandwiches in the country. The agreement with ConAgra includes facilities in Little Rock, Ark., Dickson, Tenn., and Tennessee Pride's Madison headquarters. The company, which has about 750 employees, has annual revenue of more than $190 million.

"We are proud of the business we've built over the past three generations," said Larry Odom, chairman and CEO of Odom's Tennessee Pride, in the release. "We are excited to join ConAgra Foods and we look forward to being a part of their growth plans."

The acquisition, expected to close in the next 45 days, would be ConAgra's third this year, following the purchases of National Pretzel Company and Del Monte Canada.
