February 20/New York/Business Wire -- International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. announced that Matthias Haeni has been appointed group president, Flavors effective April 1, 2014. Haeni succeeds Hernan Vaisman, who announced his intention to retire as of April 1, 2014.

Matthias Haeni joined IFF in 2007 in the role of regional general manager, Flavors Greater Asia. After three years, Haeni transferred to Hilversum, The Netherlands, in 2010 where he has served as regional general manager for Flavors Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EAME).
