White Castle is proud to announce that 100% of the eggs it sources each year will come from cage-free hens by 2025, and that the company is working to meet that goal even earlier. This transition follows a months-long review of White Castle's supply chain, and is an issue the company has been working alongside The Humane Society of the United States to address since last year.

"Switching to cage-free eggs is something we've seriously considered since we began looking at the issue and today's announcement represents us being responsive to customer preferences," said Jamie Richardson, White Castle vice president. "We're proud to serve our guests food that both comes at a value and aligns with their values."
