The Association for Dressings and Sauces Honors Paula Klassen, Treehouse Foods
The ADS Technical Service Award is given to an individual who has demonstrated dedicated service to the ADS technical programs
Paula Klassen of TreeHouse Foods was presented with the 2018 Technical Service Award from The Association for Dressings and Sauces (ADS) during the Atlanta-based association’s 2018 Technical Meeting “Racing to Victory”. The meeting was held at the Westin Charlotte in Charlotte, N.C., April 29-May 1.
Each year, the ADS Technical Service Award is given to an individual who has demonstrated dedicated service to the ADS technical programs. Nominations for this award are taken from the general ADS membership and then voted on by ADS’ Executive Technical Board, the group that oversees the Association’s technical activities. At the Technical Meeting, members share their expertise on a variety of industry-specific topics including packaging, food safety, emulsions and quality.
Klassen has provided strong leadership and commitment to the technical programs of ADS and serves as the Chair of the ADS Executive Technical Board. Klassen also serves on the Quality Assurance Committee as an integral part of reviewing new instrumentation and analyses for dressings and sauces, ensuring that the ADS technical manuals remain current and progressive. “I’m happy to be a part of such as strong organization made up of so many industry leaders who are passionate about their work. And with a recognition such as this, where your peers choose the award recipient, I am truly honored,” said Ms. Klassen.
