Nestlé USA is committed to making 100% of its packaging reusable or recyclable by 2025 and reduce its greenhouse gas emissions footprint. Leading its charge to make food and beverage packaging “fit for purpose” is Nestlé US director of packaging Chastity McLeod. McLeod has long advocated for packaging’s up-front voice in every step of new product design and ideation.
Now, she also leads Nestle’s larger mission to apply sustainable packaging strategies to such beloved brands as DiGiorno frozen pizza; Stouffer’s, Lean Cuisine and Sweet Earth frozen entrees; Coffee-mate creamers; and many more products.
