Today, the global food system is under tremendous pressure. It's estimated that two out of three people are undernourished, and we're at risk of not meeting the United Nation's SDG Goal No. 2: ending hunger, achieving food security, and improving wellbeing and sustainable agriculture by 2030. Guayakí, a maker of yerba mate beverages, announced that Stefan Kozak will be its new CEO, taking over for one of the company's founders Chris Mann, who will move to its board of directors. Kozak is the former CEO of Red Bull North America. Under his leadership, it grew to become the second-largest non-alcoholic beverage brand in the United States.

In 2016, Synergy Flavors completed the construction of two schools near Sambava, Madagascar, and two additional facilities were built last year in Antohomaro and Farahalana, Madagascar, to replace two others that were destroyed by Cyclone Enowa.
