Brothers International Food Holdings, LLC, Rochester, N.Y., has acquired Hosh International LLC, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based supplier of value-added fruit and vegetable juice concentrates and purees to global CPG companies. 

Hosh was founded in 2004 and has had a business model similar to Brothers’ business-to-business fruit ingredients division. In fact, the acquisition adds another leading ingredients company to Brothers since its purchase of Dennick FruitSource (“Dennick”) in November 2021. 

Officials say the new combination of these companies brings a significantly larger, more diversified customer base, and a broader product portfolio. Moreover, Brothers has created a best-in-class, global supplier network. 

The combined business will be led by Travis Betters, Founder and CEO of Brothers. Emad Hosh will continue on as a minority owner in the company. Brothers and Hosh will continue investing in sales, marketing, operations, and new product development to support organic growth. Both Brothers and Hosh will continue to operate under their respective names and maintain their current operations in Rochester and Fort Lauderdale respectively. 

Brothers also will continue to pursue add-on acquisitions of other ingredient companies, as part of a multi-year strategy.
