Swander Pace Capital, a private equity firm focused on investing in consumer staples across both food & beverage and health & wellness categories, announced the appointment of Greg Somerville as CEO of Maple Donuts, LLC, an SPC portfolio company. 

The leadership transition marks a pivotal moment for the Pennsylvania-based manufacturer as it enters its next phase of accelerated growth and market expansion. Maple Donuts, LLC has established itself as a premier producer of high-quality frozen bakery products, serving retail partners, foodservice operators, and institutional customers across North America.

Somerville brings to this position more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in a broad range of consumer products categories. He previously served as president and CEO of Savencia Cheese USA, a subsidiary of Paris-based Savencia Fromage & Dairy, and held various executive management roles at Land O’Lakes, The Pillsbury Company, and Unilever.
