Kemin Expands Food Technologies Sales Team
Chad Mulcahy and Kaylie Semler join Kemin Food Technologies – North America in sales leadership roles

Kemin Industries, a global ingredient manufacturer that strives to sustainably transform the quality of life every day for 80% of the world with its products and services, recently added two new members to its sales team for Kemin Food Technologies – North America. Chad Mulcahy joins as senior sales manager – bakery, and Kaylie Semler joins as a technical sales manager in the Southwest territory.
“Chad and Kaylie both bring a deep knowledge of the industry into their sales roles and come to Kemin with a passion for food production and helping customers find solutions to drive businesses forward,” Daniel Pompeu, sales director, Kemin Food Technologies – North America, said in a statement.
Mulcahy brings nearly 30 years of food and bakery sales experience to Kemin. In his new role, Mulcahy will use his strong technical knowledge to support commercial bakers to solve spoilage and quality challenges with Kemin’s functional ingredient solutions and deliver fresh, consumer-pleasing baked goods. In his most recent role at Lesaffre Yeast Corporation, Mulcahy spent 11 years connecting customers with yeast and dough conditioning solutions for their products. He attended the American Institute of Baking and completed its Baking Science and Technology program.
Semler joins Kemin with a background in agriculture that has helped her develop an appreciation for food production. In her new role, Semler will help identify innovative yield optimization and clean label solutions for customers in the Southwest region, which includes Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Missouri. Prior to joining Kemin, Semler spent several years in roles focused on compliance, producer programs, procurement, and technical support. Semler earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in animal science with a minor in mass communications from Kansas State University.
