Under the terms of the agreement, which has been unanimously approved by both Boards of Directors, DuPont shareholders will own 55.4% of the shares of the new company and existing IFF shareholders will own 44.6%. Upon completion of the transaction, DuPont will receive a one-time $7.3 billion special cash payment, subject to certain adjustments.  

This third round of funding will help accelerate Perfect Day’s business growth to further its commitment to bringing consumers the dairy products they know and love, completely animal-free.

The two companies will use Renmatix's Plantrose Process, which is a proprietary, water-based technology, and Cargill's preferred feedstocks to make highly functional food ingredients.

The wide range of yeast ingredients are essential in constructing taste for multiple applications in the food industry including soups, sauces, meats and meat analogs, snack seasonings and sweet recipes, according to the company.

Almin Avdic and Sam Macias were recently promoted to quality assurance (QA)/lab supervisors. Avdic started with Idaho Milk Products in 2010 as a packager.
