IAFNS, the Institute for the Advancement of Food and Nutrition Sciences, is now seeking abstracts from innovators to present their work as part of an exciting virtual Science Innovation Showcase set for December 14-15, 2021.

This unique event will bring university, industry, venture investment, non-profit and government experts together to share breakthrough ideas.

The IAFNS Science Innovation Showcase is the only dedicated event focusing on the science and underlying data of innovative ingredients, products and tools which can be applied in the food and beverage sector. The showcase will focus on:

• Food ingredients
  • Sodium reduction solutions (e.g. NaCl replacers)
  • Sugar reduction technologies (e.g. low- and no-calorie sweeteners)
  • Health promoting carbohydrates (e.g. fiber or non-digestible carbohydrates)
  • Novel protein sources (e.g. alternative proteins)
• Food packaging
• Food pathogen testing
