Packaging Focus

Product success depends not only on the right formulation, but also on product appearance. The Wednesday, October 19, 2005, morning session at Prepared Foods' annual New Products Conference will offer the latest insights into packaging innovations in new product development. Kevin Leibel, CTO, Innovation Management LLC, will show how truly innovative packaging makes consumers change how they think about using a product. He will help attendees unearth insights leading to packaging innovation using real word successes.

Appealing to the senses will be the focus of Steven Landau's, ScentSational Technologies, presentation on using olfactory packaging technologies to enhance the aroma, taste, shelflife and consumer preference of products.

Finally, Dean Lindsay, president, Dean Lindsay Design Inc., will help marketers understand the direct link between the look, feel and function of a package and financial performance.
