Sleeman Breweries Ltd. president and chief operating officer Rick Knudson has been named chair of the Brewers Association of Canada board for 2005 and 2006. Association members include industry giants Labatt and Molson, along with smaller breweries like Moosehead and Lakeport. Member companies brew 97% of all beer in the country.

Rick Knudson has been president and chief operating officer of Sleeman since January 1, 2003. Before that, he served as managing director of Sleeman’s Western Operations, a position he had held since February of 1997.
