October 8/Food & Farm Week -- Butter Buds Food Ingredients named Diane Duncan the newest member of its foodservice division. Duncan brings with her a wealth of foodservice industry knowledge. She was a foodservice consultant for The Adjuvant Group, a regional foodservice manager at ConAgra, and she held management and spokesperson roles for the Florida Department of Citrus and Rice Council of America.

"Diane brings a healthy dose of enthusiasm and expertise to the ever-growing healthcare sector -- an area of great potential for our division," states Jim Dodge, director of sales for Butter Buds Foodservice. "She will be instrumental in our ability to service hospitals, medical centers, retirement communities and other market segments that will benefit from our natural, low-calorie, low-fat branded food products."

Duncan resides in the Dallas/Ft. Worth region of Texas, and maintains strong ties to distributors, such as Sysco, U.S. Foodservice and Labatt Food Service, in her home state and across the United States. She holds educational degrees from Texas A & M University and Texas Woman's University.

"I've been familiar with Butter Buds Foodservice products for a number of years, as I've witnessed their rapid growth in the school foodservice segment," explained Duncan. "I know that we are going to see that same type of success in the healthcare segment, and I'm very pleased to be a part of this great organization."
