December 6/Food & Beverage Close-Up -- Corn Products International Inc., a global provider of agriculturally derived ingredients for diversified markets, announced that Aaron H. Hoffman has joined the company as vice president of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications.

Hoffman reports to Cheryl K. Beebe, Corn Products International's EVP and CFO. Hoffman replaces John Barry, who has taken the position of integration lead on the company's acquisition of National Starch.

Hoffman has more than 15 years of senior investor relations and corporate communications experience in industries ranging from foods and beverages to specialty chemicals and automotive equipment. He comes to Corn Products from Sara Lee Corp., where he most recently served as vice president, Investor Relations, a position he held since 2005.

Hoffman is a member of the Senior Roundtable of the National Investor Relations Institute, as well as a member of the Executives' Club of Chicago.
