Volunteers were offered to drink lemonade from a cup with an electric wire going through the straw.
The participants of the experiment say that the lemonade taste turned from sweet to salty.
The scientists hope that electrification will help making food less hazardous.
For example, it might make it possible to make food salty without using salt for people who suffer from diabetes and cordial diseases.
