Despite the challenges of starting a business amid a sour economy in 2007 & a near catastrophic collapse of their business two years ago, the Toepfers' perseverance is paying off as national retailers such as Target are now carrying the drinks.
Inspired by the age-old B.R.A.T. Diet (bananas, rice, applesauce and toast), the Toepfers put a new spin on the old home remedy for the flu, vomiting and diarrhea by combining an organic brown rice base, bananas and apples into a soothing new drink called the B.R.A.T.
