French Toast Crunch disappeared from grocery stores shelves in 2006. Since then, fans of the sweet cereal have petitioned General Mills to return the product to the marketplace. A Facebook page, "Bring French Toast Crunch Back" held volumes of pleas from cereal lovers and eventually played a role in swaying the cereal giant to snap French Toast Crunch back into production.

Boxes of French Toast Crunch, with its original sweet maple and cinnamon flavor ($3.65) and distinctive mini toast shape (crust included), will begin hitting shelves at select retailers in mid-Dec. and nationwide by mid-Jan. 2015.
