New Natto Extract

A traditional Japanese food that has been linked to significantly higher bone density, natto is fermented from soybeans. Now Natural Inc., a leading provider of clinically-substantiated branded ingredients for the dietary supplement market, has produced a supplemental natto extract that in clinical studies has been shown to have the same positive effect as natto soyfood, resulting in identical serum levels of vitamin K2. Natto K2 provides the highly bioavailable form of vitamin K2 as menaquinone MK-7. Vitamin K2 has also been shown to be a powerful inhibitor of vascular calcification, unlike other proteins associated with bone and cartilage health, which are linked to calcification of arterial walls.
