ioFresh™ was tested by a major U.S. university, and at independent laboratories, to examine the efficacy of ioFresh™ as a produce wash for the purpose of extending shelf life. In their controlled testing, the University determined that produce treated with ioFresh™ remained fresh for more than five times longer than untreated produce. The researchers stated, "Overall, the refrigerated treated samples had a much longer shelf life than refrigerated control samples."
In similar tests performed by ioTech International™, ioFresh™-treated strawberries did not show any signs of spoilage after 30 days (photos attached).
