At Ghirardelli, creating premium, high quality chocolate is a time-honored tradition, one that the company has been developing for more than 160 years. The company considers consumer feedback to identify new flavor profiles, a process that yielded its most recent introduction.
Ghirardelli recently launched Intense Dark Cocoa Nibs, a dark chocolate combined with crunchy, roasted nibs – bits of shelled cocoa beans, which delivers an chocolate intensity. Intense Dark Cocoa Nibs will be on shelves across the country beginning in March.
Ghirardelli added the new flavor to the full line of 10 dark chocolate flavors as part of the Ghirardelli Intense Dark lineup.
To support the launch of the new Cocoa Nibs and the full line of Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate, the company developed the ‘Savor the Dark Book Club’- a partnership with Penguin Random House that pairs Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate with new hardback fiction releases.
