PLT Health Solutions, Inc. announced the appointment of Steve Fink as the company’s Director of Marketing. Mr. Fink brings over a decade of marketing, product development and commercialization experience to PLT. Most recently, he was the Global Marketing Business Manager for Ajinomoto North America where he led that organization’s B2B and B2C marketing initiatives for branded bulk amino acid portfolios, R&D pre-scale pharmaceutical ingredient portfolios, and retail sports supplements portfolios. In his new role, Steve will represent the Marketing function on PLT’s New Product Development team, oversee new product launch efforts, support PLT’s innovation partners with marketing strategies, and work closely with PLT customers in developing concepts for consumer products featuring PLT ingredients.
According to Devin Stagg, VP of Corporate Strategy at PLT Health Solutions, the appointment of Mr. Fink is a part of the company’s continuing drive to function as a valued product development partner by understanding emerging consumer needs and developing and introducing ingredients that help its customers build strong brands. “In today’s environment, strategic marketing is an essential capability – not only for the development and launch of relevant, market-ready ingredients, but also as a way to engage customers in leveraging those ingredient solutions to power winning consumer brands,” Mr. Stagg said. “Steve Fink brings a strong background in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing, along with a track record in health and wellness marketing to his new role at PLT. In addition to his responsibilities marketing Ajinomoto’s amino acid ingredient line globally, during his tenure at Ajinomoto as Global Marketing Business Manager, Mr. Fink spearheaded the company’s launch of the AjiPure active lifestyle retail nutrition brand from concept to global commercialization. Prior to Ajinomoto, Mr. Fink spent 10 years directing marketing and product development efforts in consumer products companies engaged in early learning, youth-targeted products and specialty paper products. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fink practiced law as a patent, trademark, copyright and intellectual property attorney.
Mr. Fink received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh and Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Pittsburgh School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar of the State of New Jersey.
