The International Technical Caramel Association (ITCA) announced the launch of its new website, “Caramel Facts,” at www.caramelfacts.org.
The goal with “Caramel Facts” is to provide relevant and timely information to stakeholders interested in or engaged with the use of caramel coloring in food and beverage applications. The organization hopes that the site will encourage groups to learn more about caramel coloring and to become more engaged in the ongoing regulatory and public dialogue on its use.
ITCA also intends for the site to serve as a clearinghouse for relevant literature, educational brochures, and scientific reports related to caramel color and food regulations.
