Vita-Pakt Citrus Products Co., a global manufacturer of specialty citrus products for the juice, baking, dairy, retail, nutraceutical and food service industries, appointed Mark Reed as president and chief operating officer, effective May 1, 2020. In this newly created role, Reed will assume day-to-day responsibility for the organization.
Reed has been part of the Vita-Pakt team for seven years, with a working relationship dating back to 2003. He has held a variety of roles at Vita-Pakt with increasing responsibilities beginning as Director of Specialty Fruit Division and most recently, serving as Chief Business Development Officer.
“Mark’s exposure to all facets of the company over the past years have provided him a strong foundation and understanding of the business, hand-in-hand with his entrepreneurial background and leadership skills, support his appointment at this time.” Said Jim Boyles, chairman and CEO of Vita-Pakt.
