August 18, 2021

There’s probably no more dynamic food topic than protein and novel ingredients. Fast-paced technology gains already have ushered in protein revolution across virtually all plant-based sources. Likewise, new novel and cell-based protein technologies are edging even closer to marketplace prototypes.

What’s next on the horizon? Forecasting for 2022 and beyond is Stephanie Lind, founder of Elohi Strategic Advisors and Impossible Foods’ former senior vice president of global sales. Already an insights leader in plant-based products, Lind leads a thought-provoking session about the next technologies involving protein from plants as well as sources as diverse as algae, air and insects.

This closing keynote session will end the New Products Conference on Tuesday, September 14, from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m.

Hear Lind discuss novel ingredients, next-gen proteins and more, with:

Shannon Cosentino-Roush, chief strategy officer, Finless Foods Inc.

Tara Kriese, acting president, Mikuna Foods Inc.

Cheryl Preyer, board president, North American Coalition for Insect Agriculture

Mervyn de Souza, chief science advisor, Elohi Strategic Advisors
