SVB Foods announced its acquisition of Vita Specialty Foods. SVB Foods is a contract packaging food manufacturer specializing in savory condiments like salad dressings, marinades, and sauces. Vita Specialty Foods offers a portfolio of food products through licensing agreements, private labeling, and its own brands, including the nationally acclaimed Virginia Brand Vidalia Onion Vinaigrette.

This strategic acquisition marks a milestone for SVB Foods, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing its product portfolio and expanding its presence in the food industry.

Vita Specialty Foods includes its wholly owned subsidiaries of Virginia Honey Company and The Halifax Group (Oak Hill Farms). The acquisition will facilitate a seamless integration that ensures the continuity for existing product lines. Virginia Brand will continue as a trusted brand of honey and salad dressings, offering consumers the same great taste they have come to love. Oak Hill Farms will continue to offer a versatile line of dressings, dips, and marinades, providing consumers with a wide range of flavor options for their meals. Additionally, the acquisition enables SVB Foods to expand its private labeling and licensing programs.

SVB Foods has been a partner, providing contract packaging services to Vita Specialty Foods since 2012. With its headquarters located in Martinsburg, W.Va., SVB Foods boasts a 70,000sq-ft food manufacturing facility featuring multiple production lines and various capabilities for packing sauces in rigid or flexible packaging. The acquisition of Vita Specialty Foods solidifies SVB Foods' commitment to quality products, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
