Palsgaard announced that it has acquired the majority of the shares of Brazilian food ingredients company Candon Aditivos para Alimentos in December 2016.
Jerome J. Chasko has joined Palsgaard as Technical Sales & Business Development Manager. Based in Palsgaard’s US headquarters located in Morris Plains, N.J., Mr. Chasko leads business development, sales and technical service efforts in the Midwest and Canada.

The United States Food & Drug Administration has determined that partially hydrogenated oils, which contain trans fats, are not “generally recognized as safe” and have set a three-year limit for their removal from all processed foods effective from June 16 2015.
