Crocifissa (Croci) Mandracchia has been named general manager -- ADM Kao LLC. In her new position, Mandracchia will be responsible for the overall Enova brand oil business, which is marketed by ADM Kao.

Mandracchia joined the company in 1992, when ADM acquired the Ogilvie's Mills division of John Labatt Limited. She previously managed the manufacturing and commercial operations of ADM Milling-Montreal. Mandracchia received her Certificate in Accounting from McGill University in Montreal. She will relocate to ADM headquarters in Decatur, Ill.

ADM Kao LLC is a joint venture formed in June 2001 between ADM and the Andrew Jergens Company, a U.S. subsidiary of Kao Corporation of Japan. Headquartered in Decatur, Ill., ADM Kao brings together ADM's experience in vegetable oil processing and functional food development with Kao's scientific innovations and brand marketing experience. Last month, ADM Kao announced that Enova oil will be available nationwide by early 2005. The cooking oil differs from other cooking oils because more of Enova oil is burned as energy, not stored as fat.
