CHESTERFIELD, Mo./May 14, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Reliv International Inc., a developer, manufacturer and marketer of a proprietary line of nutritional supplements, today announced promotions of two people in its sales and marketing departments.

Don Gibbons was named senior vice president of international sales, and Michelle Keefe was promoted to marketing director. Keefe previously was marketing manager for Reliv.

Gibbons served in a wide variety of positions for Reliv between 1991 and 2004, at which point he moved to a sales advisory role. In his new full-time position, Gibbons will oversee sales in Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Germany and other Central Europe countries, and Reliv's U.K/Ireland region.

"We're very pleased to welcome Don back to a full-time position at Reliv," said Ryan A. Montgomery, executive vice president, worldwide sales. "This appointment is important because it marks the first time that Reliv will have an employee solely dedicated to managing international sales."

Keefe was previously marketing manager for Reliv. In her new position, she will develop strategic growth initiatives for Reliv's U.S. market and provide support to Reliv's marketing efforts worldwide.

Scott Montgomery, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Reliv. "Most recently, she played a leadership role in marketing the Slimplicity Weight Loss System and in managing the redesign of our new corporate website," he added.

Keefe is a 10-year veteran of Reliv, where she previously held positions in the Sales and Travel departments. In the Marketing department, she has spearheaded the repositioning of marketing publications, and managed the creation of Reliv's edition of Success from Home magazine.
