Hitting the Shelves: Hey, Kids!
A new launch from Stonyfield targets children with flavor and parents with a healthy profile.
Smoothies and yogurt products obviously have the benefit of a strong health aura surrounding them. Indeed, yogurt’s high-protein and high-calcium content has fairly well-established selling points all on its own, but a new launch aimed toward children attempts to capitalize on both yogurt and smoothies.
Stonyfield has introduced its first drinkable yogurt for children: YoKids Smoothies, made with real organic fruit and vegetable purées. The two flavors include Strawbana (a mix of organic carrot, strawberry, banana and yogurt) and Very Berry (including organic sweet potato, raspberry, strawberry and yogurt). Stonyfield also notes the organic products contain no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or preservatives.
