High Liner Foods (USA) Inc. now offers Basil Pesto and Baja Seasoned varieties in its Viking Natural Tilapia entrees line. “These new additions to the Viking line use simple ingredients to offer outstanding flavor and nutritional benefits for all foodservice operations,” says Kristen Bouchie, Viking associate brand manager. “In addition to center-of-the-plate solutions and increased menu flexibility, our product lineup is making it easy to bring in-demand, popular global cuisines like Italian and Nuevo Latino to foodservice operations with heat-and-serve simplicity.” High Liner says the new items come in 3-4oz servings to provide operators with more cost-effective portion-control options. Both offer lower sodium levels: the Basil Pesto Tilapia contains just 270mg per serving, and the Baja Seasoned Tilapia contains 320mg.
