You’ve heard the phrase, “Let them eat cake!” Now Russell Stover Candies LLC literally means it.
The Kansas City, Mo., company has extended its sugar-free sweets line with six decadent varieties including Coconut & Almond, Premium Dark and Pecan Delights. And then there’s Birthday Cake, Chocolate Cake and a Red Velvet Cake variety.
Last summer saw Lindt & Sprungli Group, Kilchberg, Switzerland, purchase Russell Stover. Lindt owns the Lindt, Ghirardelli, Russell Stover and Whitman’s brands and now ranks as North America’s third largest chocolate manufacturer.
