Today’s consumers have very busy schedules, but many still strive to eat a healthy, sensible diet to support their active lifestyle. Most don’t have time to fix a full meal; therefore grab-and-go foods are becoming more and more popular.

High-protein Dark Chocolate-Almond Breakfast Cookies featuring functional ingredients from GPC are perfect for a breakfast on-the-run or an afternoon pick-me-up snack. INSCOSITY® instant modified starch extends the shelf life of the cookie by improving moisture retention. MALTRIN® maltodextrin enhances the texture of the cookie and reduces browning caused by the high protein level. 

A tasty soft-chew supplement is a great way for consumers to ensure they are getting their necessary vitamins and minerals. When formulating a soft-chew item, the texture, firmness and mouthfeel of the final product is very important for consumer acceptability. Vitamin C Soft Chews containing PURE-GEL® modified starch provides a soft, chewy texture without compromising the firmness of the chew. MALTRIN® maltodextrins are also used to produce a smooth, creamy mouthfeel without adding extra fat, to boost solids and help control browning.

Other applications, such as soft-gel capsules, aqueous film-coated tablets and oral thin films, exhibit the excellent film-forming properties of PURE-COTE® and INSTANT PURE-COTE® modified starches.
