Golden Waffles Opens New Headquarters and Innovation Center
New 18,000sq-ft facility expands R&D, training and customer collaboration as waffles gain traction across foodservice menus

Golden Waffles opened a new 18,000sq-ft headquarters and innovation center in Glen Mills, Pa., expanding its research and development, training and customer collaboration capabilities. The facility includes a demonstration kitchen, R&D lab for waffle irons and mixes, a training academy for operators and technology to host virtual product cuttings with customers and chefs.
The company, formerly Golden Malted, supplies waffle programs to more than 50,000 locations in over 60 countries. Its turnkey model includes US-made waffle irons, mixes, syrups, toppings and support services for foodservice operators. The new center is designed to accelerate concept development, strengthen operations, and provide space for customer prototyping and training.
The expansion underscores several industry trends: increased investment in dedicated innovation spaces, operator demand for turnkey solutions that reduce labor and complexity, and the resurgence of waffles across foodservice menus. The facility positions Golden Waffles to test and scale new formats while aligning with the broader movement toward flexible, high-margin menu items that can be integrated across dining formats and dayparts.
