Kellogg’s Eggo brand has broadened its protein-focused breakfast offerings with three new SKUs: Buttermilk Vanilla Protein Waffles, Vanilla Protein Pancakes and Blueberry Protein Pancakes.
Each product delivers 20% of the recommended daily value of protein per serving, positioning the line as an “excellent source” of complete protein containing all essential amino acids. This differentiates Eggo in a category where many competing options are positioned only as a “good source.”
The expansion builds on last year’s launch of Chocolate Chip Brownie and Strawberry Delight Protein Waffles, reflecting continued growth in high-protein convenience foods. For developers, the products illustrate how traditional frozen breakfast items are being reformulated to align with consumer interest in protein fortification and easy-to-prepare formats.
The items are available nationwide with a suggested retail price of $5.99 for a 10-pack of waffles or a 12-pack of pancakes.
