siggi’s Introduces Seasonal Tropical Yuzu Skyr
Limited-time flavor incorporates emerging citrus ingredient in a protein-forward format

siggi’s is expanding its seasonal skyr lineup with Tropical Yuzu, launching in January as part of the brand’s limited, small-batch program. The flavor introduces yuzu, a citrus ingredient gaining traction across food and beverage applications for its distinct acidity and global culinary associations.
The product blends yuzu with mango and pineapple and is made with 1.5% milkfat skyr, delivering 15g of protein per cup with 11g of sugar. Consistent with the brand’s positioning, the formulation uses simple ingredients with no artificial flavors or sweeteners, aligning with continued demand for clean-label, high-protein dairy products.
The launch highlights how emerging flavors can be integrated into established, protein-forward formats to drive seasonal interest without altering core product architecture. siggi’s use of yuzu within a familiar yogurt base underscores a broader trend of introducing globally inspired ingredients through accessible, everyday products while maintaining nutritional and label simplicity.
